دائما ما اضع الأشياء تحت المجهر حتي استطيع قرائتها او فهم ما تكون، و لكن ماذا سيحدث إن وضعت الحذاء القرمزي ؟ قالت سلمي.
تعتبر علاقة سلمي بالمجهر علاقة معرفية بحتة.. حيث يعتبر المجهر بمثابة العين التي تبصر سلمي من خلالها.. تبصر حقيقة الأشياء من حولها..
كلما وضعت سلمي شئ ما تحت المجهر.. كان يظهر لها خطوط دقيقة.. تشكل بنيان هيكلي.. في حركة ميكانيكية غير منتظمة.. كانت تجلس سلمي بالأيام تنظر في المجهر.. تراقب البنيان الهيكلي و هو في تغاير مستمر..
الحذاء القرمزي.. كان الشيء الوحيد الذي لم تضعة سلمي تحت المجهر.. حيث كان كل ما تمكلة هو لوحة زيتية قديمة لهذا الحذاء.. و ليس الحذاء ذاتة..
ذهبت سلمي لصانع الأحذية حاملة معها اللوحة الزيتية القديمة..
من اين لكي بهذة اللوحة؟ قال صانع الأحذية.
انت تملك الحذاء القرمزي إذاً؟ قالت سلمي.
نعم. قال صانع الأحذية.
اخذت سلمي الحذاء مسرعة.. ثم وضعتة تحت المجهر.. حينها ظهرت لها الأرقام الأتية “١٠٤٢٦٠٠٣٨٥٠٦٢٠”..
نظرت سلمي لأعلي ثم قالت “تري ما تكون هذة الأرقام؟”

محمد المغربي
من مواليد عام ١٩٨٥، تخرج محمد المغربي في المعهد التكنولوجي العالى بمدينة العاشر من رمضان في ٢٠٠٧ بقسم الهندسة المعمارية. منذ ٢٠١٢، يستخدم المغربي العمارة كمرجع بصري وفلسفي في أعماله، كما يسعي إلي التجريب بوسائط متعددة منها الرسم والتصوير والطباعة والتحريك.
توفيج
أحمد توفيق من مواليد اسيوط عام١٩٩٥، يدرس حالياً بالمعهد العالى للفنون التطبيقية ب٦ اكتوبر. يهتم توفيج ويمارس فنون الكوميكس والرسوم الرقمية.
The Good, the Bad and the Crimson Shoe
An Exhibition of Drawings by Maghraby & Tawfig
I always see objects under the microscope to understand what they are, but what If I put the crimson shoe under the microscope? Salma said.
Salma’s use of the microscope is purely for informational purposes; the microscope is sort of an eye that Salma sees through… sees the reality of things around her.
Whenever Salma puts an object under the microscope … fines lines appear … and form a structural creation … in an unregulated mechanical movement. Salma sat for days looking through the microscope… observing the structural creation .. that constantly changes.
The Crimson Shoe was the only object she never put under the microscope, as all she had was an old painting of the shoe and not the shoe itself.
Salma went to the shoe maker with the painting of the shoe.
How do you have this painting? The shoe maker asked
So you have the Crimson Shoe? Salma said
Yes, the shoe maker replied.
Salma quickly took the shoe…put it under the microscope…and a serial number appears: 10426003850620… Salma looks up and wanders what these numbers are.

Mohamed El Maghraby
Born in 1985, Maghraby graduated from the architecture department of the High Institute of Technology in 2007. Since 2012, Maghraby uses architecture as a visual and philosophical reference in his artworks. He experiments using multi-media, including drawing, painting, printing and illustration.
Ahmed Tawfig
Born in 1995 in Assiut, Tawfig studies at the High Institute for Applied Arts. He makes comics and digital drawings.
