على مدار ١٥ إسبوع على التوالي استضافت مدرار ١٥ فنان من فنانين الفن المعاصر و قامت بإستضافة جمهور مهتم يتعرف أكثر على الفنان و اعماله بمقر مدرار في مارس.
الفكرة كانت لترويج طريقة جديدة لتبادل الخبرات مبنية على التبادل الأفقي بين الفنانين الشباب بدلاً من الطريقة العامودية حيث فنان من جيل أخر و أكثر خبرة يناشد الشباب.

مجدي مصطفى
يعمل مجدي مصطفى في مجال المالتيميدا منذ عام 2000، , ويهتم بعلاقة الصوت بالفراغ. له عدة مشروعات رائدة في مجال الصوت الالكتروني وتوظيفه داخل الفراغ بداية من عام 2002 وحتى الآن، منها (حديث الحوائط)، (مدينة)، و (خلايا صوتية). حصل على الجائزة الكبرى لصالون الشباب عام 2007 وجائزة الصالون عام 2009. وله ايضا عدة عروض صوتيه بصريه حيه بالتعاون مع ( 100 نسخه) والفنان محمود رفعت. عرض صوتي حيّ (مسـار) – مهرجان 100لايف 2008 – 2009 القاهرة والإسكندرية. مهرجان 100ووركس، ممر 35(عرض صوتي بصري) – مقطوعات صوتية (تعازيم) كجزء من عرض 100نسخة في برلين بألمانيا 2008.
جنزير
جنزير يعمل بمجالات الرسوم، تصميمات الجرافيك، الكتابة، والفيديو. من حين لآخر يحب اللعب فى مجالات لا يعلم عنها شيئاً. لقد عرضت أعماله المختلفة فى مصر، دبى، هولندا، ألمنيا، وبولندا، كما نشرت أعماله فى العديد من المجلات والكتب و على بعض المواقع الإلكترونية، مع العلم أنه من خريجى كلية التجارة.

حسام هدهد
مواليد القاهره 1978 خريج كلية التربيه الفنيه 2001 بدأ المشاركه بالحركه الفنيه عام 1998 كمصور وفى عام 2000 قام بأول تجربة برفورمانس بمحض الصدفه، فى عام 2001 انتج أول تجاربه بالفيديو وكان البرفورمانس عنصر اساسى فى جميع اعماله منذ ذالك الحين، تنصب اهتماماته بالقضايا الاجتماعيه ومشاكل المجتمع المصري، شارك هدهد فى العديد من المعارض من عام2000 الى2008 وايضأ حصل على جائزة صالون الشباب لفنون الميديا 2007
كريم لطفى
كريم لطفى من مواليد القاهرة 1985 وهو فنان يعمل بوسائط مختلفة ويهتم بفنون الصوت ، صدر البومه “زيدا” من انتاج شركه 100نسخة، وله ايضاً اعديد من التجارب فى الموسيقى الالكترونيه منذ عام 1999،شارك كريم بالعديد من المعارض منها مشروع “عالرصيف” فى مركز الصورة المعاصرة، وعرضت اعماله ايضاً بلندن وسنغافوره. يهتم كريم ايضاً بالنص المكتوب والمطبوع وصور التصاميم والجرافبكس
أحمد الشاعر
أحمد الشاعر من مواليد القاهرة 1980 بكالوريوس تربية فنية جامعة حلوان 2002 يعمل كمصمم ويب و مالتيميديا بوزارة الثقافة ويعمل فى مجال فن الفيديو , عرضت اعماله بمصر والخارج, درس الفيديو على يد الفنان شادى النشوقاتى حصل على جائزتين بصالون الشباب, وحصل مؤخراً على منحتين للأكاديمية الصيفية بسالزبرج – النمسا.
هانى راشد
مواليد القاهرة 1975، درس الفن على يد الفنان محمد عبلة من عام 1994 الى عام 2004، اهتم فى رسومه بالاجسام واختلافتها وتحولاتها، وفى اعماله الاخيرة تناول التشخيص وموضوعات سياسية بشكل عام وبالمجتمع الاوربى بشكل خاص، تعرض اعماله فى بدبى وباريس ولندن
محمد طمان
مواليد طنطا 1976، تخرج في كلية التربية الفنية عام 1998، ويعمل حاليا بمكتبة الأسكندرية،منذ العام 1999 اعتمد على التراكيب الكيميائية وتفاعلاتها الغير متوقع نتائجها في إنتاج أعمال التصوير وتجهيز في الفراغ وحتى الآن، وفي العام 2002 بدأ في التعرف على فنون الملتيميدا أثناء منحة دراسية بفرنسا ومن ثم بدأ في بالبحث الفني في هذا المجال. في العام 2008 بدأ الدراسة الأكاديمية المتخصصة لفنون الملتيميدياوعلوم الكمبيوتر مع جامعة ليون2 بفرنسا وهو يحاول أن يجد علاقة فيزيائية بين التفاعلات الكيمائية وكيفية التحكم فيها من خلال علوم الكمبيوتر لإنتاج أعمال فنية تجمع بين خصائص الاثنين
أحمد بسيوني
فنان صوتي بصري ، مواليد القاهرة 1978، تخرج ويعمل بكلية التربية الفنية مدرساً مساعداً ، يهتم في أعماله الفنية بالبحث عن العلاقات الذهنية والفلسفية المتعلقة باستقبال اللغة الصوتية و البصرية، وذلك كمنهج تجريبي معاصر يسانده حول التفكير الابداعي نحو طبيعة ذاته و مجتمعه
مروان فايد
مواليد القاهرة، حاصل على بكالوريوس العمارة من كلية الفنون الجميلة جامعة حلوان. يستكشف مروان البنية العمرانية للقاهرة عن طريق سلسلة من التدخلات التجريبية، وتتخذ مشروعاته الفنيه من ممارسات سكان المدينة وأساليب تحركهم داخل مساحتهم الحياتية نقطة انطلاق لها ، وتستند رؤية مروان إلى ملاحظته للقيم والعادات الإجتماعية للثقافية الحضرية، وهو فى اطار ممارسته لعمله كمصمم منتجات، يعنى باستخدام الموارد المتاحة للصناعة المحلية بصورة أمثلية. يدير مروان فايد حالياً ستوديو التصميم الخاص به ويدرس بالجامعة الألمانية بالقاهرة
أحمد بدرى
مواليد قنا 1979 حصل على بكالوريوس التربية الفنية 2003جامعة حلوان، يعيش ويعمل بالقاهرة فى مجال التصوير والتجهيز ، عرض العديد من اعماله بالتاون هاوس جاليرى و قصر الفنون وأتيلية القاهرة وأرت اللوا، وايضاً خارج مصر بالنمسا و ، سويسرا، حصل على العديد من المنح والجوائز منها جائزة صالون الشباب ال18، وجائزة شرفية ببينالى كوريا للخزف الثانى
محمد عبد الكريم
مواليد المنيا-مصر 1983 , حاصل علي بكالوريوس تربية فنية 2005 جامعة حلوان -مصر. يعمل في مجال الفيديو و التجهيز في الفراغ تعرض أعماله في صالون الشباب منذ 2003 حتي 2008 وحصل علي جائزة الفيديو 2007، بينالي (الأورومتوسطي) أوربا ودول البحر المتوسط للشباب (باري-إيطاليا), مهرجان الجزء المضيء بأمستردام هولندا 2008، ( سحر الماء) مشروع متعدد الوسائط بكرواتيا 2008 ملتقي الميديا الدولي للشباب.قصر الفنون. مصر 2008، مهرجان الفيديو الأول والثاني (القاهرة) 2005,2007, منحة الأكاديمية الصيفية بسالزبورج النمسا 2008.
ابراهيم سعد
مصور ويستخدم وسائط مختلفة فى اعناله الفنية مثل الفيديو والاعمال التجهيزية، ولد في الشرقية في عام 1977، يعيش ويعمل في القاهرة وقد حصل على شهادته من كلية الفنون الجميلة جامعة حلوان 2000. كان يعمل في جاليري تاون هاوس ورشة عمل ” سوا ” و” سوا الجيل “. وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، يدرس الفن للأطفال في معرض ارت اللواء. • يعمل الآن في “مركز الجيزويت الثقافي ” في القاهرة كمنسق برنامج الفنون البصرية.

In a series of 15 consecutive sessions, 15 contemporary artists presented their work to an audience eager to know more on the artists and their work in Medrar’s space. region. The idea here is to promote a new and lateral way of disseminating information between artists, as opposed to the more traditional vertical structure where information is “passed on” from established artists to younger ones.

Magdy Mostafa
Involved in the field of multimedia since 2000, and interested in the connection between the sound and the space, he has some sound installations like (madena) & (sound cells). Participated in 100 Live electronic music festival 2008-2009. Cairo / Alexandria – 100worx at passage35 2008 – Exorcism (soundtracks) part of 100COPIES showcase Berlin – Germany 2008.
Ganzeer
Ganzeer does illustrations, graphic design, writing, and video. From time to time Ganzeer will play around within a medium or venue he knows nothing about. His work has been shows in Egypt, Dubai, Holland, Germany, and Poland, and has also been published in a variety of books and magazines as well as a few good sites on the internet. And just for the record, he’s a business graduate.
Hossam Hodhod
Born in Cairo in 1978, and Graduate of the Arts Education Faculty in 2001, he joined the art movement in 1998 as a photographer and in the year 2000 he did his first performance piece by coincidence. In the year 2001, he did his first video art experience with performance being the main component of his works from then on. He is interested in social issues and Egyptian society. Hodhod participated in several exhibitions between the year 2000-2008 and he has won the Youth Salon Prize for Media Arts in 2007.
Karim Lotfy
Lotfy was born in Cairo in 1985 and he is a multidiciplinary artists interested in Sound Art. He produced his first album ‘Ziad’ produced by 100copies, and has many other experiences with electronic music since the year 1999. Lotfy has participated in several exhibitions among which was ‘3al Raseef’ project in Contemporary Image Collective. His works have been shown in London and Singapour. The artist is also interested in written works, print and graphic design.
Ahmed Elshaer
Ahmed Elshaer was born in Cairo in 1980 and graduated from the Arts Education Faculty of Helwan University in 2002. He works as a web and multimedia designer in the Ministry of Culture and works in video arts as well. He has exhibited his works in Egypt and baroad. He studied video art under the supervision of artist Shady El-Noshokaty and has won two awards in the Youth Salon. Most recently Elshaer has gotten two grants from the Summer Academy in Salzburg, Austria.
Hany Rashed
Born in Cairo in 1975, he studied art under renowned artist Mohamed Abla from the year 1994 till 2004. In his work he is focused on drawing bodies, their differences and their transformations. His latest works involve the personalisation of political issues in general and with the European society specifically. He works have been exhibited in Dubai, Paris and London.
Mohamed Taman
Born in Tanta in 1976, he graduated from the Arts Education Faculty in 1998, and currently works in the Library of Alexandria. Since the year 1999, he has been depended on chemical fusions and their unexpected reactions in a photography production and intallation piece. In the year 2002, he started getting to know multimedia arts, during a study scholarship in France and since then he has started working with this meduim. In 2008, he started studying with an academy specialised in Multimedia Arts and Computer Sciences within the University of Lyon in France. He is trying to find the physical relationship between chemical reactions and the ability to control them through computer sciences to produce art works that combine between the features of both.
Ahmed Basiony
Audio-visual artist born in 1978, he graduated from the Arts Education Faculty and worked as a teachers assitant there later. He is interested in his art works in researching the mental and philosophical relationships between recieving the audio-visual language as an experimental contemporary sylabus to assit him in his creative thinking on himself and his society.
Marawan Fayed
Born in Cairo and studied architecture in the Fine Arts Faculty within Helwan University. Fayed discovers the urban architecture of Cairo through a series of experimental interventions. His artistic projects delve into the habbits of the city’s residents, and how they move within their spaces. Fayed’s vision is based on his observations of the urban social and cultural values and traditions, as in using the available resources to construct an ideal picture. At the moment, Fayer runs his own design studio and teaches at the German University in Cairo.
Hala Abu Shady
Born in 1984, Hala Abu Shady is an interdisciplinary artist. She works in video, drawing, animation, photography and installation. She holds a BFA in art and education from Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt and has taught New Media at the Art and Design Academy, Cairo, since 2006.
Ahmed Badry
Born in Qena in 1979, Badry graduated from the Arts Education Academy of Helwan University in 2003. He lives in Cairo and works with photography and installations. He has exhibited a number of works in Townhouse Gallery, the Palace of the Arts, Cairo Alitlier and Artellewa. He has also exhibited abroad in Austria and Switzerland. He has won several grants and awards, among which are the 18th Youth Salon Award and the Eastern Award in the Korean Second Biennale.
Mohamed Abdel-Kerim
Born in Minya in 1983, he graduated from the Faculty of Art Education of Helwan University in 2005. He works with video and installation and his works have been exhibited in the Youth Salon from 2003 till 2008. He has won the Video Award in the Youth Euro-Med Biennale in 2007 hosted in Bari, Italy. He has participated in the Light Festival in Amsterdam in 2008, ‘Magic of Water’ multimedia project in Croatia in 2008, and the International Media Forum for Youth in 2008 in the Palace of the Arts in Egypt. He has also participated in the first and second Cairo Video Festival and obtained the Summer Academy Scholarship in 2008 in Salzburg, Austria.
Ibrahim Saad
Born in Sharqeya in 1977, Lives and works in Cairo, -He received his BA degree at Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University 2000. He worked in Townhouse Gallery’s “Sawa” workshop and “Sawa Generation”. In addition, he taught art to children at the Artellewa Gallery. He is working now at the “Jesuit Center” in Cairo as coordinator for the Visual Arts Program.
His artistic project was exhibited in a various exhibitions in Egypt, Europe, and Asia also he participated in a number of residencies and workshops in Egypt, China, Netherland, Italy ٫and Switzerland.
Ahmed Sabry
Born 1982, in Al-Minya-Egypt.
He graduated from the faculty of art education – Helwan University in 2004,
and works as a painter and Animator .
