 مهرجان القاهرة السادس للفيديو 

 فنون الفيديو، افلام تجريبية

تطلق مدرار للفن المعاصر دعوتها للإشتراك بمهرجان القاهرة السادس للفيديو، والذي سيقام خلال شهر نوفمبر 2014.

ﯾﮭﺪف اﻟﻤﮭﺮﺟﺎن إﻟﻰ ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﺔ ﻛﻞ ﻣﺎ ھﻮ ﺟﺪﯾﺪ وﻣﺒﺘﻜﺮ ﻓﻰ ﻋﺎﻟﻢ ﻓﻨﻮن اﻟﻔﯿﺪﯾﻮ واﻻﻓﻼم اﻟﺘﺠﺮﯾﺒﯿﺔ ﺑﻜﺎﻓﮫ اﻧﻮاﻋﮭﺎ وﻣﺪارﺳﮭﺎ، كذلك ﺧﻠﻖ ﻣﺴﺎﺣﺔ ﻛﺸﻒ وﺣﻮار ﺑﯿﻦ اﻟﻔﻨﺎﻨﯾﻦ واﻟﺠﻤﮭﻮر ﻣﻦ ﺧﻼل برامج المهرجان والتي تضم ﻟﻘﺎءات ﻣﻊ اﻟﻔﻨﺎﻨﯾﻦ والمخرجين. أيضاً يفتح المهرجان اﻟﻤﺠﺎل لمنسقي اﻟﺒﺮاﻣﺞ والمؤسسات اﻟﻤﻌﻨﯿﺔ ﺑﺈﻧﺘﺎج وﺗﻮزﯾﻊ اﻷﻓﻼم التجريبية لعرض برامجهم ﻟﺘﺒﺎدل اﻟﺨﺒﺮات وﺗﻮﺳﯿﻊ اﻟﺪواﺋﺮ اﻟﻔﻨﯿﺔ بهدف إﺳﺘﻌﺮاض تنوع اﻹﻧﺘﺎج والخبرات الابداعية والأفكار.

 ارشادات وشروط: 

 

·         الأفراد والمجموعات والمنظمين والمؤسسات بإمكانهم التقدم والإشتراك.

·         يمكن للمتقدم المشاركة بأكثر من عمل علي حد اقصى ثلاثة اعمال.

·         يعرض المهرجان كافة انواع فنون الفيديو والافلام التجريبية.

·         أي أعمال بها مواد منطوقه أو حكى بلغات غير العربية أو الإنجليزية يجب أن تحتوى على ترجمة بإحدى اللغتين.

·         الأفلام الوثائقية والتسجيلية  والروائية والأفلام التجارية مستبعدة من المهرجان.

·         يجب ان لا تزيد مدة اي عمل عن 30 دقيقة ، والا يكون إنتاج الأعمال قبل عام 2011.

·         يجب ارفاق 3 صور مختلفة من العمل بجوده عالية.

·         لا يجب أن تكون الأعمال المتقدمة مشروطه باي تجهيزات معينة.

·         المهرجان لا يتطلب اي رسوم تقديم، ولا يوفر أي أجور عرض.

·         تحدد اللجنة من قبل منظمي المهرجان والتي ستقوم بدورها بإختيار الأعمال المشاركة.

·         يتم التنويه عن الأعمال المشاركة فى 15 اغسطس 2014 عن طريق البريد الالكتروني.

·         يحق للجنة المنظمة استخدام اجزاء (صور/ فيديو) من الأعمال المشاركة بالمهرجان في المادة الدعائية مع الإحتفاظ بحقوق الملكية.

·         جميع الأعمال المتقدمة سوف تحفظ فى ارشيف المهرجان وربما يتم استخدامها فيما بعد فى ابحاث استيعادية او مشاريع تعليمية غير تجارية.

·         لن تقوم مدرار بعد المهرجان بعرض اية اعمال متقدمه  للجمهور او اعطائها للافراد او المؤسسات او بيعها او ايجارها الا بإذن كتابي من صاحب العمل.

·         بإرسالكم لطب التقدم يكون بذلك قد وافقتم على بنود وشروط المشاركة فى مهرجان القاهرة السادس للفيديو، وان المشارك يحتفظ بجميع الحقوق للمواد المقدمة او لديه تفويض من صاحب العمل بإرسال المواد المشاركة.

·         الأعمال التي ترسل دون ملء استمارة الإشتراك لن تؤخذ فى الاعتبار لدى ادارة المهرجان.

 كيفية الإشتراك عن طريق الانترنت 

·         قم بملء الاستمارة الالكترونية  الإستمارة الالكترونية بأسفل الصفحة 

·         يستلزم رفع ملفات الفيديو والصور المرفقة على هذا الموقع https://www.wetransfer.com/  وسوف يرسل لك الموقع رابط لتحميل الملف فور الانتهاء من عملية الرفع، برجاء نسخ هذا الرابط داخل المساحة المخصصة داخل استمارة الإشتراك  (ننصح بالإنتهاء من عملية الرفع قبل البدء فى ملء بيانات الاستمارة).

·         برجاء الانتباه ان الملفات المرفوعة تظل متاحه على الموقع لمده اقصاها اسبوعين لذا يجب مراعاة ارسال الاستمارة فور الحصول رابط التحميل.

·         ملفات الفيديو  يجب ان تكون نسخه للعرض، ويجب ارسالها بأعلى جوده. 

 كيفية الإشتراك عن طريق البريد العادي 

  • مصروفات ارسال المواد الى المهرجان يتكلفها المشارك، كذلك المواد ترسل عن طريق مهرجانات او مؤسسات اخرى .
  • الرجاء ارسال تأكيد يفيد قيامكم بارسال المواد الى المهرجان الى  cvf@medrar.org
  • ملفات الفيديو  يجب ان تكون نسخه للعرض، ويجب ارسالها بأعلى جوده.

CALL FOR SUBMISSION

 6th Cairo Video Festival 

 Video Art & Experimental Films 

 

Deadline for submission: 15th June 2014

 

Medrar for Contemporary Art is accepting applications for the 6th Cairo Video Festival, which will take place in November 2014.

Initiated by the Cairo-based artist initiative Medrar for Contemporary Art in 2005, this festival continues its focus on providing a platform for sharing and discussing newly produced high concept/low-budget experimental videos and films. Based on a call for works by emerging artists, the festival program takes the format of a concise series of video screenings, accompanied by talks and discussions with active video-makers and curators to tackle some of the key themes and issues presented in the works.

 Guidelines and conditions 

  • Individuals, groups, curators or associations are invited to participate.

  • The number of entries by one author is limited to three works.

  • Documentary, feature or commercial videos are not accepted.

  • Videos should be produced after January 2011, and no longer than 30 min of duration.

  • Attach 3 high resolution video stills for each submitted film.

  • Screening of the submitted videos should not have any specific recommended format of installation.

  • The festival does neither offers screening fees, nor does it request any entry charges from applicants.

  • A committee appointed by the festival organizers will make the selection.

  • All applicants will be notified of the status of their applications via email by 15 August  2014.

  • The organizing crew has the right to use the participating data within all promotional means and publications, with reserved copyrights.

  • All works submitted will be included in the festival’s video archive, and may be screened for retrospective research and/or educational (in no case commercial) purposes in the various screenings that might take place later. Medrar will not screen to public, give, sell or rent copies to other institutions or private persons interested without written consent by the producer of the video.

  • Videos with narration in languages other than English and Arabic should have English or Arabic subtitles.

  • Videos missing the festival application form will not be regarded for entry.

  • The submission of the application form designates the acceptance of the terms and conditions of participation in the 6th Cairo Video Festival, and a declaration that the applicant holds all rights to the submitted material or has the permission of the legal owner of the rights to the submitted material (pictures, sounds, texts).

 

 Online Submissions 

  • Video files and stills should be uploaded to https://www.wetransfer.com/ and copy then paste the download link inside the online application form (we advise you to start the upload online process before you proceed with filling in the application form)

  • Please note that the uploaded files will stay on the Wetransfer server for a maximum of 2 weeks. So, we urge you to submit the application form once you receive the download link.

  • Please submit your videos as only screening copies in the best available quality (HD if available).

 

 Snail Mail Submissions 

  • All snail mail deliveries must be sent with a custom declaration on the package stating the following: "For Temporary, Cultural Purposes Only. No Commercial Value"

  • Shipping expenses of incoming deliveries are to be paid by the applicant. This also applies to copies forwarded from other festivals, in which case the applying parties must make the appropriate arrangements with the relevant festivals.

  • Please confirm the shipment by writing to us: cvf@medrar.org

  • Please submit your videos as only screening copies in the best available quality (HD if available) along with information about the video in a  sealed envelope to:
